Acupuncture is an ancient system of medicine which involves the applicationof fine needles into the skin. These needles stimulate points of energy that liebeneath the surface of skin in order to effect a healing reaction in the body.
Acupuncture initially came to Crispin’s attention in his mid-thirties when it was recommended to him to address low energy levels. Having been impressed with the results, he felt inspired to embark on a training course at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading where he studied under some of the leading teachersof acupuncture in the UK.
Crispin’s practice integrates the traditional styles of treatment from China and the
Five Element approach developed in the west in the 1970s. Drawing from both of
these traditions enables him to treat conditions whichare either physical or
emotional in nature.
